What’s your background around tattooing?
Before tattooing I studied Graphic Design, but I have always had an interest in art and design. I have always loved many different mediums of art including painting, designing and digital work. It has always been a huge part of my life.
What styles of tattoo do you specialise in?
I’ll turn my hand at most styles, but I love anything that can be creative, especially stylised colour work, and I also love more illustrative black and grey.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Aside from creative hobbies, I love older cars and the retro car scenes, and anyone that knows me well knows I’ve always been a horse girl and will go out riding when I can.
What’s the most enjoyable part of your job?
I always thought my favourite part of tattooing would be the art aspect, and I love that — but meeting new customers and having the unique privilege of creating something new for them every day is really special!
What is the most meaningful tattoo you have done and why?
Some of the most meaningful tattoos appear meaningless to the rest of the world, especially if not a name or something too literal. So I love it when people collect symbolic tattoos, so they collectively tell a unique story about the wearer, holding their memories. Even the ‘silliest’ tattoos can be mementos.
