Charlotte Joined Vivid ink Coventry as our resident piercer in 2024 and has settled into the role perfectly!
Charlotte has been passionate about the piercing industry since the age of 5 when she used to install her dad’s wedding earrings. The rest as they say was history! Once she was old enough, Charlotte committed to getting her own collection of piercings and from there her passion grew to wanting to share this passion with clients of her own! She started an in studio apprenticeship with another studio in early 2017 and began piercing professionally late 2018 so has 8 years experience in the craft!
Charlotte prides herself on working towards APP standards and will always talk clients through the whole process in detail so you’re kept informed every step of the way. Her favourite piercings to perform are; eyebrows, nipples and vertical labret but she’s always looking to take on new and unique projects!
In her free time, Charlotte loves to spend time with her two children and going for long walks with her gorgeous pup, collecting vintage barbie dolls, reading, and creating delicious vegan lunches to bring to work!

What's your background before tattooing?
Before piercing I worked in fashion retail for 10 years. It’s where I got these exceptional customer service skills.
What styles do you specialise in?
My favourite piercing to do is an eyebrow piercing. However I love the challenge of paired piercings.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
When I’m not working you can find me walking my dog, eating, reading or if I have no energy, procrastinating.
What's the most enjoyable part of your job?
The most enjoyable part of my job is being able to give clients their dream piercing in a safe, calm and friendly environment.
What is the most meaningful piercing you have done and why?
The most meaningful piercings I get to do are clients’ first ever piercings. Whether this is a lobe piercing or not, I am always beyond honoured to be trusted with something so meaningful and sometimes a little scary. I pride myself on creating a safe place where clients of all ages can feel comfortable.
