Dale has been obsessed with art since leaving school and always knew tattooing was the only path for him. Fast forward to 2020, when he joined the Vivid team as Birmingham Studio Manager — and he hasn’t stopped raising the bar since!
From the moment he picked up the machine, it was clear this was his calling. Dale pours passion into every single piece, going above and beyond to make sure his clients leave with exactly what they imagined (and more!).
Known for his huge energy and infectious positivity, you’ll probably hear his laugh before you see him! With three years of tattooing under his belt, Dale specialises in bold, vibrant, stand-out designs that demand attention. If you want colour, confidence and a tattoo that turns heads — he’s your guy.
Dale's Q & A
I have held various jobs after my initial apprenticeship when I was 18, such as construction, hospitality management, cheffing. The one that I enjoyed the most was managing Vivid Ink Birmingham Tattoo Studio.
I tattoo in multiple different styles but I would say my favourite style to tattoo would be Neo Traditional, in either black and grey or full colour. However any style of full colour tattoo always makes me very happy!
When I’m not in the studio I mostly enjoy going to the gym, travelling to other countries and visiting places of interest such as museums and cathedrals — the architecture is amazing!
The most enjoyable part of my job would be meeting new clients and giving them the tattoo that they have been dreaming of.
There’s too many for me to choose just one, but any sentimental or memorial piece gives me immense pride — something which can help bring my clients closure over any events that they may have been through.
