Meg is our super friendly studio manager here in Birmingham!
Brummy born & bred, she has lived in the Birmingham area her whole life.
She went to Birmingham University and got a Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design – specialising in embroidery which ended up in her making wedding dresses & working in the wedding industry as a wedding planner for a number of years.
Her creative side brought her to Vivid Ink & she has never looked back!
Meg makes the best cups of tea & is easily distracted by dogs.

What do you love most about your job?
There are lots of things I love about my job but my favourite thing would be the people I work with! We are like a very unusual family & work definitely wouldn’t be the same without them all!
Why did you want to work in a tattoo studio?
To be honest I never thought I would end up working in a tattoo studio, I had a few tattoos before I started working here but it wasn’t something I ever thought about before. After the interview & trial shift I realised how much I loved the industry & really wanted to work for such a well established company. I am extremely lucky to have been given the job & learn something new about tattooing everyday!
How many tattoos do you have?
Since joining Vivid I have had loads of new tattoos! I now have a full back piece & am in the process of getting a leg sleeve. I love anything girly or floral & would love to get portraits of my dogs one day.
